How It Works: Designing Your Custom Ring with Melbourne Diamond Lab

Every Melbourne Diamond Lab ring begins with your story. You may share an inspiration photo or simply let us know your preferred diamond shape and size - we’ll take you on the journey to create something uniquely yours.

Step 1 - Diamond selection

Our gem specialists will reach out to understand your vision in detail, discussing preferences and any special requests before curating a selection of exquisite lab-grown diamonds tailored to you. Each option is accompanied by IGI certification and detailed imagery, so you can choose your perfect stone with confidence and clarity.

A deposit is required to secure your diamond before we proceed to the ring production phase.

Step 2 - Style confirmation

Once your diamond is chosen, our designers bring your idea to life through a detailed design graph with dimensions of your ring, allowing you to visualise and perfect every detail before creation begins. We will send you a ring size measurement tool for you to confirm the exact size of your ring.

For Craft Your Own pieces, a deposit is required to commence the process and design stage, with full payment due before production begins.

Step 3 - Shipment

When your ring is complete, it is securely delivered to you via insured Australia Post Express, typically within 4-6 weeks.
